Dawn Breeze Paintings, Abstract Expression Landscapes

Artist Statement:

"I am a process painter; I enjoy being led by the medium. I believe in my work as in nature there are no natural mistakes; every creation is sacred and organic. Through my use of layered mediums and finish’s, I demonstrate a state of flux, multiple realms, and transcendent feelings, which suggest a natural process. I am interested in expressions of time: life’s continuum, devolving toward or evolving from nothingness, in a constant state of being. I love observing nature; there is a “greatness” that exists in the inconspicuous and overlooked normality. I am fascinated by nature’s exquisitely complicated abstract design, where each detail is unique and of equal importance to the whole picture. My work aims at exposing such existing beauty."

Dawn Breeze grew up on Martha’s Vineyard, MA. At a very young age she began pursuing art, participating in summer art programs and competitive workshop opportunity’s. Dawn left Pratt University to pursue her interest in Fashion, accepting a prestigious position with Catherine Malandrino. After moving to Hudson, NY in 2003 to open her own business, Dawn returned to painting. Currently Dawn Breeze works as a full time professional Fine Art Painter.
